April Rameé
is an 800-hour certified yoga teacher, clinical herbalist, psychedelic integration coach, and creator of the Psychedelic Herbalism Method. Her journey began in 2002, during a time when panic attacks and alcoholism defined her world. Seeking refuge, she turned to yoga and was inspired by the Dalai Lama's teachings, discovering a path of healing, self-discovery, and connection.
In 2009, April found her home in Sivananda Hatha Yoga, completing her 200-hour training with Anjali Sunita in Baltimore. She deepened her practice through Ashtanga Mysore in Washington, DC, and in 2013, her connection with Dharma Mittra marked a transformative chapter in her life. Under his guidance, April completed 500-hour and 800-hour certifications, honing her expertise in Yoga Nidra, Psychic Development, and advanced sequences, which she now integrates into her soulful teaching style.
In 2017, April was entrusted with teaching Plant Spirit Yoga, a unique blend of plant medicine and yoga gifted by her teacher, Ashley Litecky. This practice became the heart of her work, celebrating the sacred relationship between plant spirits and the wisdom of the body. Rooted in the ethos that time is ART, April invites students to explore each moment as a canvas for healing and transformation.
Her teachings span the globe, from the jungles of Peru, where she guides yoga for Ayahuasca dietas, to meditation and movement sessions for activists in Washington, DC. Whether in a yoga class or sacred ceremony, April holds space for profound healing and believes revolution begins by showing up authentically and fully present within community and spirit. For her, yoga is both a personal journey and a collective call to action for the greater good.
When not teaching, April sips herbal tea blends she’s lovingly crafted, drinks ceremonial cacao, leads sacred tea ceremonies, and offers blessings to the land. She also finds joy in snowboarding, hiking, surfing, and overlanding with her beloved dog. As the CEO of Antler Alchemy, April teaches herbalism, guides psychedelic integration groups, and continues to weave ancient practices with modern healing arts.
For April, every breath, every step, and every moment is an opportunity to honor the sacred, embrace the wisdom of nature, and live the magic of a life guided by ceremony and artful intention.
